It is not a big deal dude...if not for this immigration system, we could be making even more..think about $80-$100/hr if you are an independent contractor. This a minimum for a decent contract with vendor directly.
And if you have ~100-200K for investments, with some experience and any luck..you could be making another 100K out of it from trading and active investing in other areas. That comes to ~250-300K minimum. There are no bounds when life is free and in this great country. Unfortunately, things have turned discriminative and our potentials are being restricted(atleast for non-EAD guys) and you have to be prepared for getting outright kicked out of this country.

Myself (primary applicant) and my spouse are on h1 with EADs. If spouse starts a company(issue checks and do all admin work) and still maintain her h1 with old employer, will it invalidate her h1 just because she used EAD? Reason for asking is if some thing goes wrong with 485, can she fall back on h1?

jsut follweod up with my lawyer and Iwas told that my old company doesnot usaully revoke 140's unless the person left the company b4 the setforth dates as part of GC agreement (4yrs or b4 getting gc ) or the person discharged for some other reason...
HOWEVER i am still not taking chances and am participating int his campn. and alreay sent email as requested..tx guys

Folks,
I sent the email with almost similar content as the hardcopy letter we are talking here and CC 'ed the email to USCIS-COMPLAINT@DHS.GOV as well.
My Subject was : "Complaint about Unfair and Haphazard EB3 I-140 handling at Nebraska(NSC)"
Also i just noticed that USCIS account where i CC'ed came back with a "Out of Office Autoreply" and in the out of office message they said its an inactive account - blah ! blah !.... which gives me a feeling someone is definitely reading the account and its pretty much active but just to avoid burden of replying emails they utilized ( rather mis utilized) the feature in a very Naive manner.
Did anyone else received any reply - i'll post if i receive any reply.
By the way - How about dropping a email to Ombudsman as well , saw in another thread that this approach worked ... TSC and NSC 140 sufferers can put Subject as TSC and NSC accordingly.

Interesting case, did you port your PD or??
I think this person was indeed trying to port to EB2 some time back, but even the EB2 had a PD of Nov 2005. So even if the port succeeded, even that would not explain the out-of-turn approval.

Agree with you 100% - But Once you start a thread with assertive words peoples start relying on you.... I also posted lots of conversations between myself and USCIS but i was never assertive.
Anyway - this argument will go on forever.
Can we request SriKondoJi/likes not to post anything with strong Affirmative words unless they have some kind of confirmations beyond the general Public's assumption ??

yabadaba, we will always have tough opposition when we try to do something. Your op-ed was very good and some people could not swallow it. You know some people can't imagine anyone from your country having good english! All these media efforts help us raise awareness, send our message across to the masses to counter anti immigrant propaganda. Due to our press coverage lawmaker offices too have started to take us seriously. You can change the assumption of the calculations. 750,000 are anticipated number of applicants. Now, even if u reduce it by half, i.e. 375,000, the wait could be more than a year long.
Plus we do not know if there are 10 or 100 people working on EAD stuff. Lower this number , longer would be the wait.
I don't believe all 750000 are EAD wannabies!

This has been there since a long time . Every new process has its backes and the resisters . The president of the US resisted the telephone also when Edison invented it . Relax don't lose your sleep about it . Atlanta is backlogged due to the incompetence and heavy workload of workers there . nothing more , nothing less .

Thank you to everyone who read the USCIS document and did not press the panic button. The memo talks about a 2 step process....for most of you I don't see how it affects your GC dreams...relax...they will be fulfilled. No sweat...(or convince me otherwise...after all I did get the I-140 exceptional ability in the art or sciences..etc..without labor certification.)

If its 2001 or 2003 ... ppl like me who r in EB 3 (with PD March 2007) will not get GC for next 4-5 yrs until and unless they spill Eb 1 cases evenly to Eb2 and Eb3...which is next to impossible :eek:

I am also 2007 PD , and if there is no change i am sure we are not gonna see a GC in 10-20 years.
