I believe so. I assume that USCIS eventually sends a letter acknowledging the revocation, but I don't know for sure.

Common people. We desperately need atleast THIS campaign to be a success. I mean as a team the IV core CANNOT ask for an amount lesser than $5.00.
We are a member base of 30,000 members, cant we all contribute this once? It is exactly FIVE dollars that we ask of ALL members.
If we cannot get every single silent/dormant member to contribute atleast this once, then maybe we should just pack up our bags and fold, coz if we cant even contribute FIVE DOLLARS for our own betterment, we are in a very sorry state.

i also have been ff this blog but have not been sharing much bcoz i dont see a lot of sched a bloggers in here.anyway.please read the hammond law group about an amendment that apparently passed the senate to allocate the unused visa from 2001 till 2004 in which 50% will go to sched a workers.one of the bloggers mentioned so.cant verify the authenticity of such but it certainly lifts my dampen spirit.it is the bill that was introduced by senators hutchison and schumer.i am happy to see the support of the IV members towards the mission of this organization.it has been a great source of info for me.MY PD is oct 2006 and have been separated from my wife for over ayear now and our lil girl is growing up without the presence of her mother.it is very heartbreaking,not to mention my life without her.hope all our sufferings will end soon.

Guys,
I applied AP in Jan 4th 2008. Last week on 13th there was a LUD on AP. Today the status changed to "Document Mailed to applicant". Based on your experiences does this means RFE or Approval. BTW i belong to Nebraska Service Center.

I believe that for Schedule A Professionals like nurses and PTs, the only solution is the bridge amendment to make it faster. They are now using EB3, which means competing against hundreds of thousands of Engineers. With the latest bulletin, it seems the wait is five to six years...wow! that was long! But I think that is not the true picture. By mid of the 2008 fiscal year, we will see the real picture so hang on. The wait could be in reality 3 years.

I am seeing a lot of folks predicting the EB2 dates. And I believe they are right in doing so since that is their filign category. What I am asking is if there are any prediction regarding EB3-I. The dates are not moving at all which is absolutely frustating.
I don't think anybody can predict EB-3 India as it is a lost cause (sorry for being pessimistic). The only way EB-3 India will see any meaningful progress is through legislation.

IV will become ready for elections when we have real candidates with real faces. I request all real candidates to publish their photos and accomplishments, their ideas for the organization; so that we can choose the best person for the job.
Any volunteers? Why don't I see a single volunteer! Seriously, can we have an election without candidates?!
I feel that initiator of this thread is not trying a coup d'�tat. He is merely pointing to the fact that every organization runs by elected officials. Having a life term president and core group is only heard in autocratic systems but not in a democratic one. What are we as an organization?
Why are we afraid of discussing new ideas? Why shouldn't we open up IV organization for elections? There is nothing wrong in declaring the rules and then playing by those rules.
So I completely support the guy who came up with this suggestion.

...let your Nor Cal members know - I'm trying to prepare a comprehensive document with lessons learned from the San Jose rally. Sort of a post mortem "what went right, what went wrong, how to improve" thing. It may take a few days, as we are all recovering and catching up!
